Chris graduated from Western Sydney University with a Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine.

He is a patient focussed allied health professional ready to bring on the best care for patients with lower limb problems and concerns. He has an interest in all aspects of podiatry including treatment of heel pain, routine nail care, wound management and diabetic foot care.

Services provided: 

·        Diabetes foot care assessment

·        Doppler ultrasound assessments

·        Treatment of Corns & Callous

·        Drill machine for thickened nails

·        Plantar warts

·        Ingrown nails

·        Heel pain and cracked heels

·        Biomechanics assessments

Healthfunds, EPC careplans & DVA cards are accepted.

Chris is available on Saturdays and some days. Please check with our reception team for Chris’s fees.

 

Mary Sidrak

Dietitian

 

Mary is an accredited Practising Dietitian.

Mary is here to assist with the following:

  • Assess your current nutritional and medical status

  • Listen to and assess your nutritional needs

  • Develop a personalised eating plan that adheres to nutritional guidelines

  • Educate you on how food can affect your health

  • Provide you with information on healthy eating, reading food labels, choosing the best food when shopping and eating out and healthy ways to prepare food

  • Help you set and achieve goals

  • Sort out nutritional facts from fiction

Mary practices at the medical centre every Friday.

Diabetes Educator & Registered Nurse

 

Cheryl has over 20 years experience, providing education and support Adults, Children and families living with or at the risk of Diabetes.

Cheryl is active in the provision of education and support for other health professionals and in research which contributes to the body of knowledge caring for the Diabetes community.  

Cheryl is a Registered Nurse and is credentialed with the Australian Diabetes Educator Association.

Hanna Lawyers, in partnership with Shellharbour Medical Centre, offers to patients of the Practice free face to face or telephone consultation with an experienced Solicitor.

Health Justice partnerships are a referral pathway between medical and legal services that have emerged following evidence from the World Health Organisation; which suggested that factors beyond the  medical issues, including poor quality housing, unstable or insecure work and family breakdown drive poor health outcomes.
